We are only able to take referrals for school age children, however we are happy to have informal discussions and give advice either on the phone or through emails. Please see the contact us section for details.
A diagnosis is not essential for a referral - we are happy to see any children who show traits of autism and/or would benefit from ASD style strategies.
Formal Referrals are made through the School that the child attends. Parents and others who wish for the service to be provided for a child should approach the child's school and ask them to make the request.
There is usually a reasonably long list of children waiting to be seen - we are working to be able to reduce this and will be out to see pupils as soon as possible after referral.
The referrals can be made one of two ways:
- 1. Through printing out and completing the attached form and posting it to us at the school.
- 2. Through downloading the form completing it and emailing it to us using Egress.
